Our Process
Below you will see pictures of books that have gone through my diligent process from being cleaned and pressed to even books that needed stain/tan removal or Restoration removal. My techniques in providing the best possible outcome on each book is 2nd to none and is what separates myself apart from other pressers out on the market today. Professional Cleaning of every book.
We use the utmost care when dry cleaning every book. Making sure to remove any and all dirt from the book to give it a better appearance and look as if none of it was ever there.
High Grade Pressing of all books.
We press our books flat using what is similar to a manufacturing press. Flattening and smoothing the book to remove all possible indent and bends on the book. Thus helping the book have a look as if it just came off the rack.
Restoration Removal of Color touch
Using careful precision I am able to remove color touch from books with minimal damage to the book itself. While also maintaining a reasonable grade on the book itself. Over the option that CGC uses with color touch by cutting out the entire section of the book.
Stain/Tan Removal on cover of books.
We use techniques that allow us to remove most Stains, Foxing and Tanning on books. So that you have a much cleaner appearance on your book, while also making sure we never push it to far so that your book does not get a Restoration purple label from grading.
CGC Submission
Once a book has finished being worked on and meets my standards of satisfaction. I will package securely and ship my customers books off to CGC. So that they can be graded and encapsulated, then once they are shipped back to me. I will look the casing over to make sure there are no cracks or errors on it before finally shipping the book back to the customer and completing their order.
